Sharpen AI 4.0 or 4.1 Model Download is Slow or Not Working
Follow the steps below to fix any model download errors within Sharpen AI.
Download Missing Models on Mac
- Close Sharpen AI and download the models from this link here
- Unzip the downloaded file
- Open your Applications folder and right-click the Topaz Sharpen AI icon
- Click Show Package Contents > Contents > Resources > Local > tgrc
- Move the unzipped model files from step 2 into the tgrc folder
If prompted to overwrite files, click No
Download Missing Models on Windows
- Close Sharpen AI and download the models from this link here
- Unzip the downloaded file
- Go to C:\ProgramData\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Sharpen AI\models\
- Move the unzipped model files from step 2 into the models folder
The ProgramData folder is hidden by default on Windows. If you are unable to find it, copy and paste the file path in step 3 to your File Explorer address bar.
