System Requirements
Learn about the system requirements for Topaz Gigapixel.
- Virtual Machines and Ghost Machines are not supported.
- E GPUs are not supported.
- Linux Operating Systems are not supported.
You will need stable high-speed internet to download and install Topaz Gigapixel on your computer. After Topaz Gigapixel is installed, the app will also need internet access for activation, updates, and cloud rendering.

(3) Generative models other than Standard Max require 8GB of VRAM with a NVIDIA or AMD GPU. Standard Max only requires 6 GB of VRAM with a NVIDIA or AMD GPU. Learn more about the Generative AI models.
(4) Our Core models support Intel Arc (Alchemist / Battlemage) GPUs with 6 GB of VRAM or more. Generative model support coming soon.
(5) It may be possible to install and run Topaz Gigapixel on a system that does not meet the minimum requirements. However, if your system does not meet the minimum requirements, it is not supported.

- Alternatively, instead of using Topaz Gigapixel with an underpowered computer, you can look into our suite of Web Apps - These will work, no matter what computer you have, as they are accessed through your web browser.

- Your System Profile will be a .spx file.

Step 2 - Check your System Profile
- Once you have your .spx file, you can then check if you meet the Minimum Requirements or Recommended Specifications for Topaz Gigapixel.
- The RAM information will be in the "Hardware" section of your System Profile (Memory).
- Using Mac Check is highly recommended.
