FAQ

Topaz Web FAQ (Improved)

1. Do I need a Topaz account to use cloud apps?

Yes — you’ll need to create a Topaz account to use Topaz Web.

2. Do I need to keep my browser open while rendering?

No — renders will continue processing even if you close your browser.

3. Will I be notified when my render finishes?

Not currently. You can check progress and completed renders in the app.

4. Why did my render fail or produce incorrect results?

This can happen for a variety of reasons (image type, model limitations, or temporary issues).

Try refreshing the page and running the render again. If the issue persists, please contact support.

5. How do I contact support?

Visit: https://docs.topazlabs.com/

Then click the Support button in the bottom right corner.

6. Can I use the same account on multiple devices?

Yes — your account can be used across multiple devices.

7. Why did my files disappear after refreshing the page?

All completed renders should appear in the My Files page.

If something is missing, try refreshing again or checking that the render completed successfully.

8. Where can I download my rendered images?

Go to the My Files page, select the asset(s), and click Download.

9. Can I cancel a render?

Yes — you can cancel a render while it is processing.

10. How long are files stored?

Files are stored as long as your subscription is active.

If your subscription ends, you’ll have 90 days to renew before files are removed.

11. How do I delete images?

Go to the My Files page, select the asset(s), and click Delete.

12. Which file types are supported?

Supported formats: PNG, JPEG, WEBP, TIF, HEIC

WEBP, TIF, and HEIC files are converted and exported as PNG.

13. Why is the maximum upscale limited instead of 8×?

Some models have resolution (MP) limits. If 8× exceeds those limits, you’ll need to use a lower scale.

14. Why are only faces being enhanced instead of the entire image?

Some workflows or models prioritize face recovery. If you want full-image enhancement, select a different workflow or model.

15. Why does “Download All” only download one image?

This is usually a browser permission issue.

Make sure your browser allows multiple file downloads (especially in Chrome settings). If problem still persists, contact support.

16. What are workflows?

Workflows are task-based presets designed around a specific enhancement goal. Some workflows are single model based — like Creative Upscale, where you simply choose which Bloom model to use. Others automatically combine multiple models and steps behind the scenes to get the best result. Select the workflow that matches what you want to achieve and Topaz Image Web handles the rest.
